I added illustrations I did for This Magazine and Las Vegas CityLife to the "Illustration" section.

 

Exciting News... Two of my illustrations have placed in upcoming award annuals. One illustration was "Selected" to appear in the American Illustration 28 Annual and the other illustration placed in 3x3's Pro Show and will appear in the 3x3 Award Annual #6.

 

I feel like a Rock Star! - Time for a boastful mailer.

 

In other news... I am participating in a group show with some of my friends called "Happily Never After" at Keep Six Contemporary Gallery. The opening to the show is June 10th, 6pm - 11pm. Come on down it should be a good time.

Information

Alexei Vella specializes in creating images that are both striking and complex, sensual yet undeniably intellectually involving. In order to achieve this unique look, Vella employs a complex colour palette, an eclectic application of graphics and texture, and a sophisticated use of antiquated surfaces.

Appropriating the colloquial iconography of popular retro forms to an emboldened modern sensibility, Vella’s work has achieved international recognition appearing in a variety of exhibitions and print.
